Candace is an established successful legal recruiter with 30 years of staffing/placement experience. Upon graduating cum laude with an honors degree in pre-law from Emory University, Candace started out her recruiting career as a Mergers and Acquisitions paralegal at Skadden Arps Slate Meagher & Flom in New York City.

She soon after joined Career Blazers where she led the company in placing legal staff into the tri state areas top law firms and in-house corporate legal departments and hedge funds. Here she was the firms most successful counselor and top biller while making the presidents club for 16/17 of her years.

She is known for building life-long relationships with both clients and applicants whom she keeps in contact with regularly. She prides herself on her myriad of referrals and is known for treating each and every applicant with the utmost respect and attention. She is highly regarded in the legal placement community and is here to help place all support staff and attorney candidates seeking his/her next great career role.

She has three wonderful children, loves her work and nothing makes her happier than successfully finding a candidate the perfect job.

Mandy Rigby is a legal recruiter who genuinely likes helping people. She specializes in recruiting attorneys and legal support professionals and works closely with law firms and other organizations to understand their hiring needs and identify people who will be a strong fit for their teams.

For Mandy, recruiting is about more than filling an open position. She takes the time to understand what a client is really looking for, the culture of the organization, the personalities involved, and what will make someone successful in the role. She believes that taking the time to understand the client properly leads to better placements and stronger, longer-term relationships.

At the same time, Mandy has always believed that recruiting should be valuable to candidates, too. She regularly offers interview preparation, resume guidance, and career advice even to people she isn’t currently working with, simply because she enjoys helping people and believes everyone benefits from being better prepared for their next opportunity.

Mandy came to recruiting through a somewhat unconventional path. She studied conservation, interned at zoos, worked as a veterinary technician, and owned a dog grooming business. She has worked since she was 16, including a variety of customer-facing roles. Those experiences gave her the opportunity to work with all kinds of people and taught her the importance of listening, communicating honestly, adapting to different personalities, and treating people well.

Those experiences continue to shape the way Mandy works with both clients and candidates today. She is direct, responsive, and honest about what she sees in the market. She takes pride in presenting clients with candidates she genuinely believes could succeed in their environment rather than simply sending resumes to fill a pipeline.

For Mandy, recruiting is ultimately about people and relationships. She enjoys learning what a client needs, understanding what a candidate wants, and finding the point where those two things come together. And sometimes, helping someone means simply giving them good advice, even when there isn’t a placement involved.
